My grandon will be 20 months old when we visit WDW on Dec 15-21. How can I find out what he will be able to do at each WDW park?

Oh, Stacey, you must be so excited to take your grandson to Walt Disney World this December.  I accompanied my nephew, Tanner, on his first trip to the most magical place on earth when he was that age.  It was such a privilege to be with him as he experienced the magic for the very first time.  Promise me you'll take plenty of photos.  I guarantee you'll want to remember this trip forever.

If you want to compile a list of attractions that would be appropriate for your grandson, head to www.disneyworld.com and then click on the "Things to Do" tab at the top of the page.  Choose "Attractions" from the drop-down menu that appears.  When the next page opens up, select the theme parks you plan to visit (on the left side of the screen) and check "Preschoolers" under the "Recommended Ages."  A nice long list of wonderful options will result.

Feel free to click on individual attractions from this list if you want additional information about any specific ride, show, or experience.  Or, if you need an opinion from one of our Moms regarding the developmental appropriateness of an attraction, don't hesitate to post as many follow-up questions to the Panel as you like.  We'd be happy to share our personal experiences with you.

Best wishes to you as you plan your magical December vacation!
