Welcome back to planDisney Maxie! I am excited that you are taking your granddaughter on Disney Cruise Line. You all will make many great memories together!
An
Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian form must be completed by your granddaughter's parent and brought to the port with you. This form will authorize you to retain the care, custody, and control of your granddaughter during your cruise. Along with that form, she will need her
citizenship documents just like you. For US Citizens traveling on closed-looped sailings (beginning and ending at the same US port), either a US passport or the original or copy of her state-issued birth certificate is needed. If she uses her birth certificate, she will not need a photo ID because she is younger than 16 years of age.
You can pre-purchase a
photography package to capture those magical moments throughout your cruise. Photographers are available throughout the Disney Cruise Line ships and the private island
Disney Castaway Cay. You will receive a pre-arrival discount if you book this with Disney Cruise Line at least three days before embarkation. To access more information about the photography packages, sign in to your account on the Disney Cruise Line website and select "Already Booked" and then "Photography". There are many options to choose from!
Maxie, if you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney to visit us.
Happy Planning!
