Hi Gidget,
What a great Grandma you must be to want to give little Kayley some Disney Magic. She is the perfect age to remember the trip for a long time. I would suggest a 4 or 5 day trip with Magic My Way Base tickets. This will allow you to visit each park with a day or two of shopping. That will be plenty for you and Kayley. I would also suggest the Quick Service Dining plan that would give you each 2 meals per day. Since October is off season you should be able to get a very affordable hotel rate at one of
Disney's Value Resorts
Plan a beauty makeover at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where little girls are magically transformed into little princesses and let her have a magical breakfast at
Cinderellas Royal Table where you both will enjoy pre-plated all-you-care-to-eat American breakfast favorites including bacon and eggs, French toast, granola, yogurt and pastries as you sip on your choice of juice, milk, coffee or tea. All the while, Disney Princesses visit Guests' tables. After those two major things, visiting each park will be magical in itself. Don't miss the fireworks at
The Magic Kingdom on one of your evenings where Kayley will be thrilled to see Tinkerbell fly through they sky.
I am sure that whatever you choose to do you will have a vacation to remember.
