My grandmother is from Southern California and would like to purchase our tickets for us. Is she allowed to do this? Does she also have to buy a ticket for herself?

Hi, Tawnika - welcome to planDisney!

Thank you so much for stopping by to ask this great question about the limited Southern California Resident Ticket offer. This special 3-day, one park per day ticket is for Guests who reside within ZIP codes 90000 and 93599 only. Any Guest using this SoCal Resident Ticket must show proof of Southern California residency at the park entrance with a government-issued photo ID, which means a California driver's license or California ID showing proof of eligible residency.

You, and any Guest who is not a Southern California resident, would need to purchase the standard Disneyland Theme Park Tickets. Prices vary depending on date of visit and ticket type, but Tawnika, there is another special ticket offer for visits from May 16, 2025 through August 14, 2025 to celebrate Disneyland's 70th Anniversary! It's a really great deal and worth checking out! I could not be more excited for this amazing moment in history, with limited-time entertainment, including the return of fan-favorite Paint the Night Parade to be coming down Main Street very soon! It's going to be so magical.

Well, Tawnika, I hope the information I've provided has been helpful and maybe (just maybe!) encourages your family to plan a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth - you won't regret it!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

Meet the Panelist: McCayla, Washington

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
