Even now, my parents, though retired, have been able to gift my toddler tickets using a military discount, so it feels like such a beautiful full-circle moment.
Speaking of discounts, let's chat about military tickets. Technically, Crystal, there are two types of specially priced military tickets: promotional ones, such as the
Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket and the multi-day Military Salute ticket, and non-promotional tickets (formerly known as Magic Your Way tickets). I’m not sure what your grandmother is eligible for, Crystal. Both types of tickets have their own unique eligibility requirements. Eligibility is typically derived from the Servicemember first, so you will want to make sure that your grandfather meets the criteria prior to trying to purchase tickets. If your grandfather meets the requirements, then your grandmother, as his spouse, should be able to purchase tickets for the family (limits do apply). To check eligibility requirements, I suggest reviewing the “Important Details” section of the

Both of those locations typically give you the clearest answer, but if you are still unsure after taking a look, then definitely reach out to a representative at Shades of Green. They can help you determine which ticket types your grandmother is eligible to purchase (if any) and walk you through the best way to purchase them.

Before I let you go, your grandmother will need to be present the first time the tickets are used (and if she is purchasing promotional tickets, at least one of them must be used by her) to show her valid military spouse identification and scan into the theme parks.
