Ahoy, Marcia!
I'm so happy to hear you'll be enjoying a special vacation with your grandchildren! A Disney Cruise Line voyage is the perfect multi-generational vacation, because there's so much to see and do for all ages. You're going to love every minute you spend on the gorgeous
Disney Dream, where you'll be making memories of a lifetime with your grandkids!
When traveling with a child under the age of 18, of whom you're not the parent or legal guardian, you'll need to complete the Minor Authorization Form and bring it with you when you check in at the port terminal. This form authorizes an adult (other than the parent or legal guardian) to retain care, custody and control of a child during the duration of a Disney Cruise Line vacation.
This form will be available to print during the online check-in process, or you can print it by clicking
here. You should also receive a copy with the Cruise Documents you receive from Disney Cruise Line prior to setting sail. You'll need to have the child's parent have the form notarized. I would also make sure to bring along copies of any health insurance cards for your grandkids as well.
I hope this helps with your planning! Now it's time to begin the countdown to your vacation! Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions before you sail.
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
