Hi Constance!
I'm thinking you are going to win "Grandma of the Year" after your trip with your princesses! How wonderful that you will be able to enjoy a special vacation together! Cinderella's Royal Table is a great way to celebrate your time together. Obviously everyone's preferences are different, but if your granddaughters still love princesses, it's a fabulous choice. If, on the other hand they are past the princess stage, Chef Mickey's is a fun, celebratory environment in which to enjoy a meal with some famous Disney pals, including Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. Other choices that they may enjoy without characters include Sci-Fi Dine in Theater (where you sit in a 1950s-style convertible) and watch old film clips while eating and 50s Prime Time Cafe, both at Hollywood Studios.
I would recommend visiting the independent website
www.allears.net to get a great overview of the restaurants, and enlist your grandgirls' opinions and help when planning your dining choices. Then, be sure to make reservations as close as possible to 90 days in advance of your visit by calling 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463) to ensure you get the reservations you most want. I also recommend coming up with a general itinerary of what parks and main attractions you would most like to see on which day, to help facilitate a smooth trip. Be sure to work your dinner plans around this itinerary, so you aren't at one park at 4:40pm, needing to get to another by 5 for a reservation!
Finally, I'd recommend allowing for some "girl" time to just relax by the pool and enjoy each other's company, as spending all of your time in the parks can be exhausting!
Have a magical trip with your girls!
