I want to take my grandkids to WDW. There would be 7-9 people going. I'm trying to just find a date to go everytime I put in a date it tells me that date in not avaiable, or that my party is to big. How do I know which dates are avaiable?

Hello Neta!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

Walt Disney World web page is a great place to check availability and price of Disney resorts.
Still, it requires some patience and time.

The system will ask how many adults, kids and the kid´s age.
If you enter the information of all 7 or 9 guests, the system will look only for rooms that will accommodate all the guests together - not separate rooms.
The system will show all the resorts, but will only show pricing for available rooms that will accommodate all guests together.

I just checked availability for 9 guests during August, September and November 2013 and was able to find room at different resorts.

I recommend checking availability for two rooms at moderate or value resorts, especially rooms at the Alligator Bayou section at Port Orleans - Riverside Resort.  These rooms feature and extra bed for kids - a room for 5 guests!

To check availability for some dates on 2014, you may have to call a Disney Cast Member at (407) 939-5277.

Glad to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
