Hi Anita!
Thanks so much for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask another wonderful question! Your grandkids are two lucky kiddos! They'll have so much to celebrate while navigating the high seas with you! My son is crazy about his Grandma and loves traveling with her aboard Disney Cruise Line. He loves snuggling on her lap while she tells him stories. It sounds like your two grandchildren might be a little old to be sitting on your lap (haha!), but I have no doubt there will be multiple occasions throughout your cruise when the three of you will be sharing unforgettable moments together.
Your two grandkids will be able to enjoy all the areas of the ship, open to Guests of all ages, together! Some examples of these areas include: the splashtacular swimming pools, the Broadway-style shows and entertainment each evening, movies shown in the Buena Vista Theatre and any of the activities listed in your Personal Navigator newsletter under the category "Fun For All Ages".
Disney Cruise Line also has
Youth Clubs aboard each of the four cruise ships. The different Youth Clubs are separated by age groups. Based on your grandchildren's ages, your one grandchild would be able to participate in Edge (ages 11 - 14) and your other grandchild would be able to hang out in Vibe (ages 14 - 17) up until his 18th birthday onboard. I have great news for you! Each day the Youth Clubs will have Youth Activities Open House hours where the entire family will get to enjoy the Youth Club, no matter their ages! The Youth Activities Open House hours will be listed each day in your Personal Navigator newsletter.
Anita, I hope I was able to share with you all the fun your grandchildren will have together while onboard! If you think of any other questions, please come back and visit us again!
