Hello, Alvin, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you visited us with your question as you prepare to celebrate two special holidays aboard Disney Cruise Line with your family.
If your sailing will take place during Hanukkah, you can expect that a service will be offered each night of Hanukkah where a candle is lit on the menorah. If you would like to bring a menorah onboard, please note that only battery-operated lights are permitted for safety purposes. Once you are onboard the ship, you can check the Daily Activity Schedule within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see when and where the candle lighting will take place. If you have any additional questions about activities while on the ship, please see the Crew Members at the Guest Services desk. They'll be happy to assist you!
I'm wishing you a joyful sailing as you celebrate the Festival of Lights and Christmas with your grandchildren. I can't think of a better way to
celebrate the holidays than making memories with the ones you love. There will be plenty of merriment onboard the ship including a tree-lighting ceremony, crafts, wintertime entertainment, and even a visit from Santa Claus.
Have a festive time and please return to us if you have more questions as you plan. My fellow panelists and I are always happy to help.
