Hi, Valerie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My family and I have a tradition of always ending our Walt Disney World vacations by taking in the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park, and my kids love all the fun light-up toys. I can still picture my daughter during her first trip to Walt Disney World in her princess dress, waving a light-up sword. That definitely showcased all the aspects of her personality!
We always like to give our kids gift cards to use during our Walt Disney World vacations. It's a great way to keep everyone on a souvenir budget. Disney gift cards can be used almost anywhere in the Walt Disney World Resort, however, some outdoor vendor carts only accept cash. If you find that the vendor carts selling the light-up toys only accept cash, I would recommend visiting the
Emporium Shop on Main Street, U.S.A. The Emporium sells a lot of the same light-up toys as the vendor carts, and your grandchildren will be able to use their gift cards in the Emporium.
Another option that you may want to look into before your vacation is the
Made with Magic Ear Hat. These hats are available through the Shop Disney Parks app or web store (where you can also use your Disney gift cards). Made with Magic accessories are programmed to light up along with many of the nighttime shows at Walt Disney World.
I think you and your family are really going to enjoy the
Happily Ever After Fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park. It is a magical end to any Walt Disney World day! Wishing you a vacation filled with pixie-dusted moments!
