Hey there, Paula, and welcome to planDisney!
Although the Garden View Tea Room at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa hasn’t reopened, I do have other good news to share. At the Grand Floridian, the beloved
1900 Park Fare restaurant has opened its doors again. Now you can sip on Strawberry Soup while greeting characters including Princess Tiana and Mirabel. Also, at
Disney’s BoardWalk, The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant by Gwendolyn Rogers has officially started serving its very own afternoon tea! I haven’t experienced the
Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea yet, but the food and drink (and dessert!) that I’ve had there are absolutely delicious. You can book your experience via email or phone directly with the restaurant.
AN EXTRA GEM: The
Disney Parks Blog is the go-to, official source for big and small announcements of happenings around Disney Destinations. I highly recommend that you check it out leading up to the days of your trip.
I hope that the Garden View Tea Room returns by the time of your February visit, Paula. But I can say that even if it’s not open, there are so many magical experiences at Walt Disney World Resort that you will still have an amazing vacation. If you have any other questions,
revisit us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
