    My grand-daughters want the Mermaid room, so I have been entering dates and it is unavailable. Is there a way that we can view the available dates and then make a decision. This is our first time and want to make it special.

    You are the best grandma ever!  Your granddaughters are so lucky to have you planning a magical trip to Walt Disney World!

    Without punching in each individual date, there is no way to just see what dates are open for any resort room when booking online.  However, I do not know if this is something that a friendly Disney Reservationist would be able to assist with.  Give a call (407-W-DISNEY) with your general dates and see if they can make any magic and find you an available date that would work with your schedule.

    A word of advice:  The Little Mermaid rooms book up very very quickly.   If you are given a date, I would take it and put down a deposit. Your deposit if fully refundable up to 5 days prior to arrival, so there will be no problems if you need to modify your dates or cancel. 

    I really hope you are able to find dates that work so you can take your darling granddaughters to Walt Disney World for a trip of a lifetime!  Keep me posted and let me know if you need more help getting your vacation planned.
