Hello Alton,
My oh my, what a wonderful day!
I'm thrilled to hear your granddaughters will be visiting the
Disneyland Resort and what a thoughtful gesture to send them off with a gift!
I completely understand your preference of giving your granddaughters spending money through a simplified method that doesn't require having to carry actual cash around.
I'll start by sharing that Disney Dollars, which were an in-house form of currency at the Happiest Place on Earth, were discontinued at the Disneyland Resort in May 2016.
However, you'll be glad to know you have the wonderful option of purchasing
Disney Gift Cards! Currently, Disney Gift Cards are available for purchase online through the
Disney Store. You can purchase up to five Disney Gift Cards and you can purchase them in $25 increments, up to $150, per card or choose larger denominations up to $500.
Do you have a
Disney Visa? If so, you can use this method of payment to purchase the Disney Gift Cards for your granddaughters. If not, you should look into applying for a Disney Visa because it comes with some magical benefits you'll be glad to experience next time you visit the parks!
I hope this helps.
See Ya Real Soon!
