G'day, Patricia, and congrats on being Grandparent of the Year! What an incredibly special gift you are giving to your granddaughter. Wow!
Thank you for bringing your great question to planDisney! I can understand wanting to plan ahead and maximize the magic while you are visiting the Happiest Place on Earth, however, entertainment schedules are not released until about six weeks out. I encourage you to check the
Hours & Events Schedule on the Disneyland website as your visit gets closer, Patricia. The Hours & Events Schedule is an incredibly helpful resource, not only providing an entertainment schedule for you, but also includes attraction closure information, park hours, as well as the events occurring during your visit. Make sure you've selected your specific dates and park at the top.
All that said, it's important to know that the entertainment schedule can change at any time.
The end of September is one of my favorite times of year to visit Disneyland, Patricia, especially for the opportunity to experience the frightfully fun Halloween season, including
Oogie Boogie Bash - which does have dates set! This after-hours party requires a separate ticket, so make sure to be following the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Disneyland account on Instagram so you don't miss announcements about when tickets will go on sale, if you're interested in attending.
Don't forget, Patricia, sometimes part of the magic of a Disneyland vacation is the dreaming and planning along the way, as you anticipate the incredible memories you'll be making with your granddaughter. At least this has been my experience. Then, when you've finally arrived, after months of imagining, and you're walking down Main Street with Sleeping Beauty Castle in the distance, there will be nothing left but to immerse yourself in the magic and wonder.
But no matter how you decide to spend your time during your visit, you and your granddaughter will be making memories together that will last a lifetime - because you're the magic, Grandma.
