Hello, Janie, and welcome to planDisney! Let’s begin with a huge “Happy Birthday” from all of us at planDisney! Your granddaughter is so lucky to be celebrating her special day at the
Walt Disney World Resort. It’s my most favorite place to celebrate! In fact, I celebrated my birthday there this past April and although I didn’t wear a gown of my own, I did get to dine with some of my favorite Pals. I’ll be more than happy to share some ideas with you to help make her day even more special.
What I recommend doing is ordering your
granddaughter a dress from shopDisney. Have her pick out her favorite princess and you can shop for not only the dress, but all the accessories from head to toe! After that, go ahead and take a look at your
Character Dining options. You’ll want to go ahead and schedule a dining reservation now as well. I recommend breakfast at
Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera or breakfast at
Chef Mickey’s. If you want your granddaughter to dine like a princess, I recommend
Cinderella’s Royal Table or
Be Our Guest Restaurant. These two options are not considered Character dining, but you never know, you might get to see someone very special while there!
Janie, I hope these dining recommendations help you plan out her day and make it even more special. I do recommend packing an extra outfit for your granddaughter to change into, or out of, depending on what time you are dining at. My 3-year-old did get warm during our visit in July so she simply changed in and out of her dress before and after dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table.
Have the Most Magical visit and please wish your granddaughter a Very Happy Birthday from all of us here at planDisney!
