My granddaughter has just turned 18 can I buy her a Florida discount ticket

Hi Ed! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney!

Happy birthday to your granddaughter! A visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect way to celebrate. I recently visited the resort for a milestone birthday with my family and we had a truly magical time. From the special meals we shared, to the nighttime spectaculars, to the immersive attractions, and everything in between, it was an experience we will likely never forget. My birthday dinner was at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at Disney Springs. Talk about a great way to celebrate!

There are often many great deals on park tickets and vacation packages for Florida residents. If your granddaughter is indeed a Florida resident, you are welcome to take advantage of any Florida resident ticket deals available at the time of her visit. A Florida address would be required at the time of checkout and your granddaughter, along with any other adults using these types of tickets, would need to provide proof of residency at the time of use. They would provide this proof at one of the Walt Disney World Resort ticket windows before scanning into the parks.

Ed, I hope that your granddaughter has a wonderful visit to the resort. Please reach out to planDisney again in the future with any questions you may have. We are always happy to help!

Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional,
