Hello there, Jan!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks so much for stopping by with your
Disneyland Resort question. You’re going to love making magical memories alongside your granddaughter at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Please take a look at the
theme park attractions list. It can be sorted by age interest, height requirement and thrill level so you can plan which attractions you might like to experience with your granddaughter. It looks like there are only a couple theme park attractions (Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland Park and Incredicoaster in Disney California Adventure Park) that she won’t be tall enough to ride with you.
You may want to take advantage of the
Rider Switch service, which allows Guests with children who don’t meet the minimum height requirement to take turns experiencing attractions. An adult can ride while another adult waits with a child who can’t board the attraction. They then "switch" so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting in the regular queue all over again.
I hope this answers your question, Jan, and that your family’s vacation is practically perfect! Please send us any other planning questions you can dream of.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
