My granddaughter would like to be a princess for a day, how do we make reservations?

Royal greetings, Susan, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

I can’t think of anything better than being a princess for a day, and I’m so excited for your granddaughter’s dreams of royalty to become reality! My daughter experienced a magical makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort several years ago, and it was a day I’ll never forget!

I’m thrilled to report that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has recently reopened, and reservations can be made here. Just look for the blue "Check Availability" box on the upper right-side of the screen. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, and are highly recommended. You’ll need to provide a valid credit card number to hold your reservation at the time of booking. I took a look at the booking calendar, and it looks like there aren’t currently any reservations available on November 15, 2022, so I recommend continuing to check here daily in case any reservations open up before your visit. You still have plenty of time, so just keep checking!

If for some reason you aren’t able to find a reservation before your visit, I recommend stopping by Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique first thing in the morning to ask if there have been any cancellations or spots you can fill that day. It never hurts to ask! At the very least, you can still ask a Fairy Godmother-in-training or a Coachman at the shop for a sprinkling of pixie dust for your granddaughter to make her day a bit more magical!

After being pixie-dusted, I recommend heading toward Fantasy Faire, which is located just a few steps away from the Boutique. There, you’ll find a constant rotation of favorite Disney Princesses at Royal Hall. This is one of my daughter’s favorite spots to meet Disney Princesses thanks to the special one-on-one time you get while meeting each princess. You’ll feel like you’ve entered a magical castle as a VIP guest of royalty!

For the ultimate enchanted princess experience, I also recommend checking out Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose. This upscale restaurant is located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and it includes an unforgettable 3-course breakfast, along with super-special encounters with favorite Disney Princesses. Your princess-in-training can choose from fun options like princess waffles or even chocolate princess cake pops! If this sounds like something your granddaughter may enjoy, I recommend booking a reservation soon, as they tend to go quickly!

I hope this information helps your granddaughter live out her princess dreams, Susan! Please stop by with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!

    A royal goodbye for now,
    Kristin
