Welcome back to planDisney, Angie!
The holiday season is my favorite time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm so pleased to hear that you're going to get to experience some of that festive magic with your granddaughter in just a few days. Have you had a chance to look at all the
special limited-time treats that are available in the lead up to Christmas? I was at The Most Magical Place On Earth last month and the consensus among my group was that An Orange Bird Christmas from
Sunshine Tree Terrace was our favorite snack, so think about grabbing it for yourself while you're at
Magic Kingdom Park!
Angie, as a part of
the phased-reopening process of the Theme Parks and Resort Hotels, all guests ages two and over are required to wear an appropriate face covering at all times in public areas, except when you're stopping to eat, drink, or swim. Since she falls within the age range, your little princess must wear her mask at all times even if she is in her covered stroller. These rules are in place for the safety of your own family as well as other guests and, of course, the Cast Members who are making magic happen for us, and your ongoing cooperation really is greatly appreciated. Disney has recently brought out a great selection of
holiday-themed face masks that are made from comfortable, breathable material, so maybe you can let your granddaughter pick out her favorite as her first souvenir of the trip!
Have a magical day, Angie!
