Hi Amy!
Disney dining is one of my favorite topics as there are so many delicious offerings throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. I adore planning our
Advance Dining Reservations and choosing our meals and it's all made so easy with the
Disney Dining Plans. Not too long ago, I ran into a similar problem when my good, non-picky eater decided he no longer liked anything. Finding something on restaurant menus he would eat was difficult and when we did, he would merely pick at it and not eat a lot. Fortunately, at several Disney Restaurants we were able to order an adult-sized entree of certain kid's options like chicken nuggets. There's no guarantee they will be able to do this, but it's always worth asking. I'd also request side items like grapes, cookies, carrots and other choices that were easy to take with us and offer as a snack later. I even kept a couple of resealable bags with us in case he had part of a sandwich or something convenient to carry around.
While it may not be the most ideal use of the Disney Dining Plan, especially since the kiddos are missing out on so many delicious choices, it worked well and made sure his meal wasn't just wasted. Then, later on, when he was hungry, we had a quick snack at the ready.
Have a delightful vacation with your granddaughter, Amy! If there is anything else we are able to assist you with in planning your magical trip, please let us know.
Pixie Dust,
Lauren
