    My granddaughter needs a wheelchair to get around large areas. I read somewhere that only Florida disabled tags are honored for parking in the handicap lot. I don't mind paying for parking but we are from Texas.

    Hi Melany!

    The great news is that there are designated handicapped parking spaces available throughout Walt Disney World Resort. As long as you have a valid disability parking permit, you are welcome to park in the available Disability Parking lots and it doesn’t matter which state you are from. Please note that standard parking rates will apply.
