Hello there, April!
Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted that you have stopped by with your Walt Disney World vacation planning questions. Traveling to The Most Magical Place on Earth with a young child is sure to create a memorable adventure. This is a great time to visit. The four theme parks are currently in the middle of
The World's Most Magical Celebration. Don't forget to
stop in and see Mickey with your granddaughter! He looks very dapper in his new anniversary suit.
Before you arrive you will need to
purchase a ticket for your granddaughter. All Guests aged three and older will need a valid theme park ticket and
Disney Park Pass reservation to enter. The good news is that Guests ages 3-9 do receive a reduced price on their tickets. Once you have purchased your tickets, be sure to make your Disney Park Pass reservations. You can
check the availability of the theme park of your choice before you order your tickets. I recommend doing this to avoid disappointment, just in case the park you want to visit does not have reservation openings on that day.
Before you head off to the magic, be sure to check out the
planning guide for preschoolers. This site has some amazing suggestions for visiting with a young one. Every age is the perfect age to experience one-of-a-kind attractions and fun character interactions.
April, I hope that you and your granddaughter make a lifetime of magical memories during your visit!
We'll see ya real soon!
