Hi Duquesa,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
The Walt Disney World Resort understands the need and is very accommodating, so they've provided a service called the
Disability Access Service (DAS) which helps those who might have difficulty tolerating longer wait times. They want to make this vacation as enjoyable as possible!
To start the DAS process, you’ll want to pre-register with the guest in advance of your Theme Park visit. Since your visit is soon, you fall in the 30 day window so you can log on to schedule your
“Pre-Arrival Live Video Chat” between 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time. After registering on the call, you’ll be able to work with a Cast Member to secure up to two one-hour return windows through DAS Advance Planning. Have questions about the process, check out the
FAQs on this page!
While you’re waiting for your call, make sure to double check that your “Friends and Family List” is up to date with your entire party in the
My Disney Experience mobile app (inclusive of the guest in need of the service). You’ll also want to make sure everyone has valid Theme Park admission as well as
Disney Park Pass reservations.
If you aren’t able to do a video chat, with the guest, in advance, no biggie, you can also register on-site at
Guest Relations. If you end up going with the Guest Relations option on-site, you’ll want to do it in the beginning of your trip so you can utilize the Service for the days after your registration.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for the
World’s Most Magical Celebration. If you have any other last minute planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
