My granddaughter is marching with her high school band next month at the Magic Kindgom. Do I have to pay the full admission price to spend the little bit of time to watch her march?

Welcome Cynthia, thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I can imagine how excited you are about your granddaughter’s marching at Magic Kingdom Park. This will be one of those very magical moments we keep for a life-time.  Don’t forget to bring your camera to take many pictures of her.
I don’t think I have good news. Even if you just want to spend a short time at the Park, only for her performance, you must pay for a 1-day park ticket. I suggest you double-check with your granddaughter if her High School will offer any type of special invitation for families, but it is not usual. Generally, everyone entering the Park to watch the High School Marching Bands will need a valid park ticket.
Don’t be sad! You are going to be at the happiest place on Earth. Many attractions, shows and parades for you to enjoy. It is going to be a memorable day for everyone.
Don’t hesitate to come back if you have further questions.
    Have a Disney day!
