Hi there, Nancy! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family and I are all early risers so I share your affinity for getting going first thing in the morning.
There are a few restaurants that offer pre-park opening breakfast reservations from time-to-time. Reservation times and availability can change often, but I took a look at the open reservation times for mid-November and it looks like the first available breakfast reservations at
Carnation Cafe are for after the park opens for general admission. You might have more luck at the
Plaza Inn where you can enjoy the Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park. These reservations tend to start about 20 or so minutes before Disneyland Park opens so you can get a kick start on your day. Your granddaughter might also really enjoy meeting all the characters that are available at this breakfast. It's my favorite character meal at the Disneyland Resort because the food is great and the character interaction is top notch!
If you are looking for even earlier breakfast times, then you definitely want to research dining options available at the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Disney's PCH Grill, Storytellers Cafe, and Goofy's Kitchen usually have reservations as early as 7:00 a.m. and they also have some fun characters to meet while you dine! Further,
Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel has a delicious breakfast menu and kids meals are just $9. I suggest making reservations as soon as possible online or by calling (714) 781-3463 since these meals are quite popular.
I hope this helps! See ya real soon!
