My granddaughter will be in a leg cast while we are in WDW. Can I make arrangements for a wheelchair in advance?

    HI Lori!

So sorry to hear about your granddaughter.  Well, if you have to have your leg in a cast, being in the happiest place on earth is a pretty good thing!

The wheelchairs are available on a first come-first serve basis at all the parks.  If you want to ensure one, you can contract one from a provider outside of Walt Disney World.

The good news is, Walt Disney World recognizes that there can be a demand for mobility aids and there are lots on hand to help those around the park who need it.

Have a magical time...even in a cast.  Make sure that your granddaughter gets some Pixie Dust sprinkled on her leg...I hear it has magical healing powers.  It's not just for flying you know.
