My Granddaughter just hurt her ankle really bad. She ended up with surgery. The doctor said she would fine to go, but she would have to used a walking scooter at times. Does the park allow it.

    Hi Christine!

Absolutely! Walt Disney World allows mobility devices of all kinds throughout the Parks. Wheelchair rental is available at the Parks but if you are interested in renting scooters I would highly recommend contacting a private company in the Orlando area. We have actually done this before and it is an extremely convenient way to go. They deliver the scooter to your hotel and pick it up again after you leave for home. Take a look HERE at the Wheelchair Rental page of the Walt Disney World website for names and numbers of recommended companies.

Please let us know if we can do anything else to help you. Have a wonderful day!
