My granddaughter is goin to a different park than I am. She is 8, so I need to reassign her ticket to her parents?

Greetings Steve, and welcome to planDisney!

Multi-generational vacations to the Walt Disney World Resort are so much fun. Seeing the joy on a little Mousketeer’s face as they experience a vacation with an extended family makes the entire planning process worthwhile. This is also a great time to visit during the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Several experiences have been created just for the celebration, like Disney’s Enchantment. This nighttime spectacular can be viewed nightly in the Magic Kingdom. In addition to an amazing soundtrack, pyrotechnics are magnificent and glorious projections on the castle and buildings on Main Street U.S.A.

You will be happy to know that once your granddaughter's ticket is assigned to her account in My Disney Experience, you will not need to assign it to someone else if she is not with you. Your little Mouseketeer will just need a way to access her admission ticket. The most common, and stylish way, Guests access their admission is with a MagicBand. Her MagicBand will work no matter which adult family member takes her to a theme park. The other option for admittance is using an admission card. You can pick one up at Guest Relations with a photo ID and confirmation of her ticket purchase.

Disney MagicMobile Service can also be set up to allow an adult to use an iOs mobile device for access. You can set up the MagicMobile pass in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Simply open the app and access the menu by tapping the 3 horizontal lines in the lower right corner. Select the Disney MagicMobile button and create a pass for anyone on your Family and Friends list. Once you create the pass, save it to your Apple Wallet. You can then send that pass to your granddaughter’s parents and they can store it in their device’s mobile wallet to give her access to the parks.

If you have purchased a Memory Maker to capture all the core memories you will be making during your trip, the MagicMobile pass can add photos taken by Disney PhotoPass Photographers. You will be able to edit, post, download, and share your precious memories with your family.
