I want to take my granddaughter to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique upon entering Magic Kingdom, so she can stay dressed up for the day. Good idea or not? Also, is there a fast pass for this?

Hi, Linda! It's so exciting to plan fun things like this with grandchildren.

You know your granddaughter better than anyone, so you would probably be the best person to answer the question about whether or not being dressed for the day is a good idea. There are multiple packages available at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and they range from a hair-do and makeup with a princess sash all the way up to one of the Disney signature princess dresses. The first thing I would consider is the time of year you'll be visiting. There are not a ton of tree shaded areas at the Magic Kingdom theme park, so if you'll be visiting at the height of summer, it may not be practical to have a little one all decked out in a heavier fabric dress and heavier tiara.

Each child is also unique when it comes to their preferences for clothing. My oldest, who has been on her own and married for nearly two years, may very well still sleep in a tiara. She always loved dressing up and no matter how hot it was, she wanted to wear her latest favorite princess costume. My middle daughter hated having her hair pulled up, and she still does. My youngest doesn't want anything "scratchy" near her, ever. Depending on your granddaughter's personality and preferences, you might have to make the call about whether a full day in princess garb is good or not. To be safe, there are lockers at the theme parks, where you can stash regular clothes.

There isn't a FastPass+ for the boutique, but you do need an appointment. You can call 407-939-7895 to schedule.

    Have a fantastic time!
