Hi, Jim!
Thanks for sending your question to us at Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Organizing multiple trips to
Walt Disney World is so exciting, but doing so for travels with your grandchildren is even more special!
If you are looking to purchase a
Walt Disney World Annual Pass for yourself or the 4-year-old, the first thing I would consider is if you will frequent venues besides the four main Theme Parks. This includes all of the following fun locations:
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park;
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park;
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex; or
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course. If you plan on taking your two littles to any of these
more than once, it may be wise for you to purchase the Disney Platinum Plus Pass, since that Pass includes entrance to all of these venues as well as the four Theme Parks. There is no blackout date on entrance to any of these as well.
If, however, you don't plan on including multiple trips to those other venues, you could save a little money by purchasing a Disney Platinum Pass. No blackout dates here either, and you can enjoy unlimited entrance to the four Theme Parks for an entire year.
Keep in mind, you can still purchase a 1-Day
Water Park Ticket if you decide to spend a day enjoying water park fun.
In addition, until your younger grandchild is 3, no ticket is needed; entrance is courtesy of Mickey Mouse!
Be sure to check out this great guide for
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones, and send more questions as you think of them.
You are in for a most magical year!
