Hi there, Gwyn! I am so excited you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your family around the holidays. You will have so much fun seeing your grandchildren's eyes light up as they experience the magic of Disney AND the holiday season at the same time!
I am unsure if you are looking to visit this year or next, or if the traditional past holiday experiences currently on pause this year will return next year. Typically, the holiday décor and offerings start going up a few days after Halloween and are in full swing the week after Thanksgiving. This year, the festivities are already in full swing until December 30th.The week after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend tends to be a great time to visit, as the holiday attractions become more and more popular the closer you get to Christmas Day.
While this year is different, there is still lots of holiday cheer to find at the Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many
festive experiences planned for you to make your visit memorable. From a transformed Cinderella Castle to holiday-inspired dishes and treats, and even joyfully decorative holiday floats to view holiday magic is in no short supply this year at Walt Disney World. Be sure to visit
Disney Springs and check out the beautifully decorated Christmas trees found amongst the stores and restaurants. You will have to have each grandchild decide which was their favorite! They could also each pick out a Christmas ornament at
Disney's Days of Christmas to remember their magical Disney holiday trip as a treasured souvenir.
Have a magical day, Gwen!
