Hello, My grandaughter turns 3 on November 4th, however we plan to arrive at Disney on November 1st to Nov 6th. Will she need a park ticket for the 4th & 5th?

Happy early birthday, Adele's granddaughter! And happy Disney vacation planning to you, Adele. For me, planning and counting down to my next Disney vacation is half the fun. So be sure to check out the planDisney Podcast episode that's all about ways to count down to your magical visit. More importantly, let's get your question answered!

When you navigate to the homepage of the Walt Disney World Resort website, you will notice that you can start to build your vacation package at the top of the page. Once you enter the number of children in your party, you will be asked the age of each child "at the time of travel," and your vacation will be priced accordingly.

While turning any age at the Walt Disney World Resort is special, there's something even more special about turning 3. And that's because once she's 3, she's eligible for the royal treatment by one of the Fairy Godmother's Apprentices at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park. This magical experience will truly make her feel special, not just during the experience itself but likely well after. When my niece had this done, Cast Members greeted her as a princess all day long. And, of course, you can up the ante by ensuring she hangs out with fellow royalty by dining at Cinderella's Royal Table. And don't worry, everyone dining there is treated to a special meal in an elegant setting, but she'll just be among her peers! Of course, you can also visit Cinderella and Princess Tiana at Princess Fairytale Hall. And the best part? Each of these princesses is usually meeting with a visiting princess, meaning no matter which one you queue up for, you'll be getting two princesses with each experience! When I last visited these lovely ladies, Elena of Avalor was meeting with Cindy (we're besties, so I can call her that), and Rapunzel was meeting with Princess Tiana. Just note that princesses do change, so just check on the day of your visit who is meeting and greeting. Now, when I visited Tiana, we chatted a bit about how excited I was to ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure and that I couldn't wait to see her next adventures when the Tiana series makes its way to Disney+! What do you think your granddaughter would chat about with them?

Adele, enjoy celebrating with your granddaughter at the resort. If you have any other questions, I'm happy to answer them!

There ain't nothing gonna stop you now 'cause you're almost there,
    Matt
