What is a grand party? What is the perk for linking Reservation ???

Hi, Danielle! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help in planning your upcoming vacation! Grand Gatherings, discontinued in 2012, were groups of 8 or more staying at Walt Disney Disney Resort Hotels. They were able to make t-shirts, schedule special events and more. Even though those are no longer an option when planning, there are several other ways to celebrate with a large group.

I always like to wear a brightly colored shirt along with my extended family; it makes us easier to spot in a crowd and stick together, especially the children! As far as quick service meals go, If you are visiting Magic Kingdom, we love eating at Pecos Bill’s for nachos or even the great selections for picky eaters at Pinocchio’s Haus! If you’re up for a group challenge, you can arrive at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and order the Nachos Rio Grande for your group of 8 or more! It’s a fabulous experience that not to be missed!

Linking your hotel, dining reservations and FastPass+ reservations to My Disney Experience is a great way to keep everything in one place.  Of course, you can always use your hard tickets for FastPass+ and PhotoPass, and visit the hostess stand to check in for your meals instead. Have a magical vacation! ~Lindsey P.
