Hi there, Marie! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so pleased to meet a fellow
Disney Princess aficionado--consider me your Fairy Godmother, here to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your next
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Marie, the stars never aligned for our family to see the Princess Promenade at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This experience stopped in 2019 and currently there is no information about a possible return. But don't despair! There are many opportunities to meet Cinderella and friends all around Walt Disney World. Let me suggest a few of our family's favorites!
- Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom Park is a Character Dining experience featuring Cinderella and friends. It's perfect for some princess pics and offers the added magic of dining IN Cinderella's Castle! This is a highly sought-after reservation, so I recommend booking 60 days before your check-in date.
- Just a few steps away from the castle is Princess Fairytale Hall, where you can have an enchanting encounter with Tiana, Cinderella, and their royal besties! These pictures can be added to your Disney PhotoPass and make for a great souvenir of your vacation.
- In EPCOT, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is another great Character Dining option, with several princesses greeting Guests for a family-style, Norwegian-inspired meal. After your meal, it's a short walk to visit Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus!
- You can spend a delightful day in the World Showcase at EPCOT and see many princesses on your travels, including Mulan (China), Snow White (Germany), Jasmine (Morocco), Belle and Aurora (France), and Alice and Mary Poppins (United Kingdom). Consult the My Disney Experience app for up-to-date schedules or pick up a Times Guide in the park.
If you have an upcoming stay planned for the Grand Floridian, the
Disney Parks Blog recently announced the April re-opening of
1900 Park Fare, a Character Dining experience located at the resort. The restaurant will have a new character lineup and I'm excited to see Mirabel, Aladdin, Tiana and Cinderella!
I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Marie! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney--please come back anytime if we can help with additional vacation questions.
Stay Magical!
