Hi, at Grand Floridian are there any double queen standard Garden View DELUXE Rms in outer buildings that have balconies w/ spindle rail so you can see while seated, or do those rooms all have the solid walls on the balcony allowing for standing view only?

    Hi Tami!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am excited that you may be staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!  This is such a beautiful resort, in the perfect location, situated on Seven Seas Lagoon, adjacent to the Magic Kingdom Park, and having the benefit of boats, buses and monorails to transport you around Walt Disney World.   I have stayed there, in a room exactly as you describe - Outer Building - Deluxe Room - Garden View, with 2 queen beds in Conch Key - that's the building nearest to the boat dock, and Narcoossee's.  I can confirm that my balcony was definitely with a spindle rail, and not a solid wall.  I love to sit on my balcony with my coffee, and enjoy the view (while I am sitting down!).  Looking at my photos, it appears as if all the deluxe rooms have the same balcony rail, but it may be advisable to add this as a request to your booking just to be sure, although please note that no request can be guaranteed.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation at Walt Disney World.
