    Do the grand floridian have connecting rooms and have they all been refurbished

    Hello Marika 
    Firstly I have to say that it's always an added pleasure for me to assist another Guest from the United Kingdom with their jolly holiday plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort! 
    I absolutely love staying within the grand opulence of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and truly never tire of the fantastic views across Seven Seas Lagoon to the Magic Kingdom Park. To the best of my knowledge there aren't any current refurbishments ongoing although Gasparilla Island Grill underwent a short refurbishment and the new menu is featured in this Disney Parks Blog article. 
    I'm happy to share that I've stayed at The Grand with extended family members and we had the wonderful convenience of inter-connecting rooms. My top tip for requesting inter-connecting rooms is to speak with a knowledgable Cast Member by dialling the freephone number for Disney Resort Hotel Reservations contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory and ask for the request to be noted on your booking. Although inter-connecting rooms can never be guaranteed please be assured that Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your families needs.
