Will the Grand Floridian Cafe offer a Thanksgiving Meal this year at dinner service on Thanksgiving?

Hiya, Becky! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us.

Your Walt Disney World visit is right around the corner. How exciting! Soon you’ll be immersed in the magic, enjoying all the rides, shows, and—maybe most importantly this time of year—delicious food offerings. So let’s dig in!

At this time of year, dining locations offering special Thanksgiving or Christmas meals will provide details about their modified menus on their webpages. You can see examples of this on the Ale & Compass and Whispering Canyon pages. There doesn’t seem to be any mention of a Thanksgiving menu on the Grand Floridian Cafe page, which leads me to believe there will not be a special holiday meal offered there this year.

If you’re looking to dine at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can find special Thanksgiving menus at Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary Resort, Olivia’s Cafe at Old Key West Resort, Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, and, as I mentioned above, Ale & Compass and Whispering Canyon. Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom is famous for its Thanksgiving-inspired food offered all year round, but remember, you need a valid theme park ticket to dine there.

I hope this information helps you plan your Thanksgiving visit to the Vacation Kingdom of the World, Becky. Come right back to planDisney if you have other questions or need additional recommendations. Our knowledgeable panelists are always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
