Is the Grand Flor. Cafe too "fancy" for children? I have ADR here around Christmas for DD 4&8 to see Gingerbread House here and I have heard the Christmas tree there is also great. Thanks, you are all so helpful!

No worries!!!  The Grand Floridian is fabulous and I believe especially fabulous during Christmas.  The Life sized Gingerbread House is spectacular.  Disney caters to families and that would include children.  My kids like to eat there for lunch or dinner.  My younger ones like the worms in dirt dessert, and my 8 year old loves to order the steak off the children's menu.  I hope you have a fabulous trip!!  Heather M.
