Ahoy there Cynthia, and welcome to planDisney! Having current travel documentation is important to start your magical vacation off right.
For round-trip Disney Cruise Line itineraries sailing from US ports to the Bahamas, your granddaughter's
passport must be valid for the entire length of the voyage. You and your pirate crew will need to present your passports or other valid travel documentation once you arrive at the port, so make sure it is in your carry-on bag and not your checked luggage.
If your granddaughter will be traveling without her parent or legal guardian, you must also bring a completed
Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian form to the port with you. This form, completed by her parent or legal guardian, gives you authorization to retain her care, custody, and control during your cruise.
I know you will not want to miss the magical memories on your cruise, so be sure to stop by character meet and greets, other locations around the ship, and
Disney Castaway Cay to have your photos taken by Disney Cruise Line photographers.
Photography packages can be pre-purchased at a discounted rate when you purchase at least three days before embarkation. To access more information about the photography packages, sign in to your account on the
Disney Cruise Line website and select "Already Booked" and then "Photography".
Your vacation aboard Disney Cruise Line will be here soon, Cynthia, but if you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney for help.
Happy Sailing!
