Our Grand Californian stay is Dec14-16. Park reservation Dec 14/15. We were former AP Holders. Is there a way we can purchase the Magic Key prior to our trip and get credited for the tickets we already purchased? Thank you - Ron

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Ron!

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, we’re all EARs! I’m so happy to hear that you are on your way to planning a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth with a stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. There’s nothing better than staying in the magic!

Ron, so long as your theme park ticket is eligible for upgrades, you will be able to upgrade your theme park ticket once you arrive. I recommend waiting to upgrade until the end of the last day of your visit so that you don’t risk losing your existing theme park reservations. A Cast Member at any Main Entrance Ticket Booth will be more than happy to apply the purchase price of your existing ticket towards the purchase of a Magic Key Pass, subject to availability.

After that, you’ll be a Magic Key holder, how exciting! Don’t forget to take a look at all the available discounts you’ll get to enjoy over the next year. Have a great visit and if there’s anything else you need, you know where to find us!
