Welcome Home, Clay - and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad to hear that you'll be coming "Home" to
The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in just a couple of weeks. It sounds like it's going to be a family affair, and there's nowhere better to make magical memories than
Disneyland Resort!
One of the best parts of any
Disney Vacation Club stay is the amenities and added features that make the accommodations feel like home. Our family loves having a full kitchen to make breakfast before heading out to conquer the theme parks, and the separate living space in the Villas is so nice when traveling with little ones who need to nap!
Clay, I'm happy to report that portable cribs are available in DVC accommodations. You will typically find these tucked away in a closet. However, I still recommend contacting
Member Services to add a note to your reservation to make sure there is one on hand. If there is no crib in the room when you arrive, simply call Housekeeping, and they can track one down for you.
During your stay at the Grand Californian, you'll have so many great dining options available! Two of my personal favorites for families with young Mouseketeers include
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures and
Storytellers Cafe. Both of these experiences include some quality time with Characters, which is a recipe for core memories and sweet photo opportunities!
I hope this information is helpful as you're going through your vacation to-do list, Clay! You'll be arriving in California before you know it, and I hope your family has a wonderful time together. If our planDisney crew can help with any additional questions to make your vacation picture-perfect, please reach out again anytime!
Stay Magical!
