    I see that the Grand Californian Hotel and Spa will reopen to DVC members on December 6th. Will the restaurants within the hotel be open to the public (i.e Storyteller's Cafe, Craftsman Grill, etc)?

    A warm welcome from all of us here at planDisney!

    News sure does travel fast! I see you’ve heard the wonderful news that The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be opening back up for Disney Vacation Club Members on December 6th! You can imagine my excitement this morning when I received the email from Disney Vacation Club! This is my absolute favorite Disney Vacation Club resort and I’m proud to call it Home! If you’ve ever considered becoming a Disney Vacation Club Member they have some great discounts right now!

    I would absolutely love the opportunity to dine at one of the fabulous restaurants inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! I can almost taste the Double-baked Beef Nachos from GCH Craftsman Bar or one of the steaks cooked to perfection at Napa Rose. At this time we are still waiting for more information of what food options will be available and if they will be available to the general public. The email I received stated that restaurants may be open in a limited capacity or they may be unavailable in general. We are still waiting to hear more specific information for both hotel guests and the general public.

    Until then, most of the restaurants at the Downtown Disney District have reopened and are more excited than ever to welcome guests! Don’t forget that starting next week even more food options will be available on Buena Vista Street inside Disney California Adventure Park! Carthay Circle Lounge and Smokejumpers Grill are the two I’m most excited about!
