Is Grad Night still offered at Walt Disney World? Is it offered to students from outside of Florida?

Hiya, Tammy! Welcome back to planDisney!

There are so many wonderful traditions and events at Walt Disney World, but I’m sorry to report that Grad Night, an exclusive evening event for high school seniors, is no longer held at Walt Disney World. I know this event is still held at Disneyland Resort, but it looks like it hasn’t been hosted at Walt Disney World since 2011.

I’m sure this isn’t the news you were hoping for, but there are some other options to consider as you plan your next Walt Disney World adventure. If you were hoping for a more exclusive access to the theme parks, similar to what Grad Night was, then keep an eye out for updates regarding Disney After Hours and Disney H2O Glow. These are both special ticketed evening events, which means smaller crowds and reduced wait times. As of the time I’m writing this, Walt Disney World has yet to share additional dates for either of these events, or if these events will be returning next year. If they do come back in 2026, then these events may be the special celebration you’re looking for.

As you start planning your trip, I’d suggest checking the Special Offers page for new deals and discounts. As many offers are released seasonally, this page is updated regularly with new information (offers subject to availability and change). Also, don’t forget to add the Disney Parks Blog to your reading rotation. They are your best source for news and updates regarding special events at the Disney Parks.

I hope this information is helpful, Tammy. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
