    Hi Destiny,

Welcome to planDisney! Your Grad Nite is just around the corner, and I’m confident you’re going to have an amazing time! Let’s make sure you’re all set to enjoy your night by reviewing some of the special policies for Grad Nite.

As your school flyer mentioned, no outside food or drinks will be allowed into the event. More specifically, anything that has been opened prior to entering the parks will need to be disposed of before you go through security. Be sure to review the list of other prohibited items to ensure you stay in the clear. Your school might also prohibit outside food on the bus, so I recommend checking in with the staff member organizing Grad Nite to confirm.

Disneyland has additional bag requirements for Grad Nite. Only small bags are allowed—think typical Loungefly size. Standard-sized backpacks won’t be permitted. This might be the perfect excuse to pick up something from Elias & Co.; they’ve got some fantastic merchandise celebrating Disneyland's 70th Anniversary and lots of fun graduation items too!

If you’re looking for a place to store your things (or your purchases) during the night, lockers are available for rent near the entrance on the west side of Buena Vista Street. Locker prices vary depending on the size, so check out the Locker Rental page for the most up-to-date pricing.

When you're at Grad Nite, be sure to snap a photo with characters dressed in their caps and gowns! These special outfits are exclusive to events like this. You’ll also find an oversized diploma prop that’s perfect for group photos with your friends. Don’t miss the chance to capture these unique memories! Scan the Grad Nite QR code as you enter California Adventure so you can see all the cool things to do!

Destiny, I hope this info helps you make the most of your incredible night! If you have any more questions or would like extra tips for future trips, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to add a little extra sparkle to your planning.

Congratulations on graduating, and enjoy Grad Nite!
