For Grad Night attendees with a full day park-hopper ticket, is there a certain time that these kids have to be inside of DCA for the night? Or can they stay at Disneyland until closing before going to the event?

Hello Linae! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for asking this great question about Grad Nites. I hope this means you have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth on the horizon!

Grad Nites at Disneyland Resort have been occurring annually to celebrate local Southern California high school seniors for many, many years. These special young people are invited in the parks for their own private, after-hours event from 9pm to 2am in California Adventure on select nights in May and June.

Guests with a Full-Day Park Hopper Grad Nite ticket will be allowed entry into both Disneyland Park and California Adventure on the same day during normal operating hours, plus admission to the after-hours event at California Adventure. I would expect the majority of Grad Nite ticket holders will leave Disneyland Park for their party at California Adventure, however, if they have a park hopper ticket, they are welcome to stay at Disneyland Park, if they'd like.

There will be lots of enthusiastic young people in both parks on Grad Nite dates, especially in California Adventure and especially in the evening. It's a very fun vibe! But, Linae, if you'll be at the Happiest Place on Earth on a Grad Nite date, I have a tip to help make the day go a bit smoother: Begin bright and early! Groups will, likely, not start showing up until later in the day, so take advantage of lower crowds in the mornings. This is true for any park day in Disneyland, but especially on Grad Nite dates.

I hope I was able to provide some helpful information for you, Linae! As you continue to prepare for a potential visit to Disneyland, I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth - like how to "Celebrate Happy" at Disneyland's 70th Celebration! (Brand new entertainment! Must-have merchandise! Unique attraction overlays! Delicious treats!) This amazing moment in history begins May 16, 2025 (so soon!) and runs for a limited time. Feel free to reach out to me with any other questions. I could talk about Disneyland all day.

    See you real soon!

    Warmest wishes,

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
