What's the "grace period" for Rise of the Resistance boarding at Disneyland? We have Plaza Inn reservations 10 mins PRIOR to park opening. We're worried if we try for passes right at opening time we could be called early in our breakfast.

    Hi there, Keith!

Mmm! Early morning breakfast at Plaza Inn sounds delicious. My family and I have loved meeting some of our favorite Disney characters at “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park.” By all means, enjoy your breakfast and don’t worry about needing to head to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during that special time. When Boarding Groups for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are called, guests usually have two hours to make their way to the entrance of the attraction. The return periods are subject to change and may be one hour instead of two, for example, closer to the end of the operating day.

Tony’s Tip: As you are aware, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the newest attraction to open at the Disneyland Resort, has been extremely popular. However, guests need not spend all of their time in the parks waiting for just that one attraction. With a virtual queue system in place, you may join a Boarding Group to keep your place in line while you enjoy other attractions and entertainment throughout the parks and Downtown Disney District. Because this attraction is so popular, regular Boarding Groups typically have been filling up within just a minute or two after regular park opening. I recommend setting an alarm to be reminded of the appropriate time to briefly suspend your dining experience and take a moment to use the Disneyland app with your tickets pre-linked to request to join a Boarding Group.

Thanks for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Keith. Please come back with any other questions you may have.
