I had gotten euros here in the United States to use on our Greece/Italy cruise. The bank gave me a very large denomination. Can I exchange for smaller Euros denominations on board the Disney magic?

Greetings, Cindy and a warm welcome back to planDisney!

How exciting it is that you will be sailing with Disney Cruise Line throughout the Mediterranean stopping in Greece and Italy! Cindy, you will be in for the grandest adventure of a lifetime, my past Mediterranean sailing is one that I reflect on to this day!

Cindy, for your convenience, onboard your Disney Cruise Line ship the Disney Magic, you will find the services of currency exchange at the Guest Services Desk near the Atrium Lobby, where you should be able to modify the denomination amounts of your Euros. On our most recent trip to Greece and Italy, I had no problems handing large denominations of Euros to many local restaurants and merchants as well as utilizing my credit card.

    Tips:
Please download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to manage your plans, receive onboard activity, dining and character information and communicate with fellow cruise mates using the handy Onboard Chat feature.

Kindly refer to the Disney Cruise Line - Know Before You Go resource in preparation for your voyage and consider a pre-or post-cruise stay which can be arranged with Adventures by Disney cruise packages.

If stopping at the Port of Pireus, near Athens, consider venturing to the Acropolis Museum which is directly beside the Athens Acropolis, the excavated site beneath the museum over which the museum was intentionally built, is open to Guests for exploration, truly magnificent!

Cindy, I hope this information is helpful and I wish you a most magical Mediterranean sailing - thank you kindly for stopping by planDisney!
