Hey there, Kristine!
Welcome to planDisney, friend! I am so very glad that you stopped by with your question. I hope that you are getting excited about your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth as you count down the days until the adventure begins. Let's talk about the Disability Access Service and other resources available to make your trip memorable and magical.
The
Disability Access Service or DAS is designed to offer Guests that have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a traditional queue an alternative. Guests that qualify for this service will schedule return times for select experiences and attractions, rather than waiting in the standby line. During the pre-registration process, a Cast Member will ask Guests questions about how this service will help the Guest during their visit and determine eligibility for the service. While there is not an appeal process for this service, you can absolutely speak with a Cast Member about the Disability Access Service at a
Guest Relations location after you arrive. A Guest Relation Cast Member will be able to go over the variety of services offered for Guests with disabilities, including services for
mobility disabilities, designated break areas, and on-site
health care services.
If you would like more information about the various services offered before your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort you can reach out to Disability Services
via phone or email at disability.services@disneyparks.com to receive additional assistance. You will also find
printable Guides for Guests with Disabilities for each of the four theme parks available on the Walt Disney World website.
We'll see ya real soon!
