Is a GoPro with it's extension stick allowed at the Disney World Resort parks?

Hello Robert! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I took my GoPro during a Walt Disney World Resort day where I went through all 4 Theme Parks and experienced 32 attractions taking a single picture every 10 seconds to cover the entire experience. Had the whether been better (it was raining all day), I'm sure the finished video would have been amazing.

In terms of restricted personal items not allowed into Walt Disney World Theme Parks, while the camera will be allowed the extensions stick is prohibited. During my last Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I saw a Guest asked to return their extension stick to their vehicle or to dispose of it before they could go through security clearance.

For my experience, I had a clip that attached to my backpack to hold my camera in place all day. Even with the restricted personal items list, it is up to the Security Officer's discretion to allow objects in any of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

I find traveling with my camera a cumbersome chore during Walt Disney World Resort vacations. With mobile devices taking such high quality photos and the presence of Disney PhotoPass Photographers at key locations, I seldom enter the Theme Parks with a camera anymore.

I Hope You Get Some Great Pictures!
